You travel, and you find, Judit ! I would have given the little knob on top a little more air, and perhaps tried to conjure up some more intense colours ( not much, just a tiny bit, perhaps it would be enough just to increase contrast a little, not sure....) Anyway, you have an excellent eyes for details like this one; very nice...

regards, fred

Hei Fred :)

(I knew it ...) I was thinking about more air but there is a window right above what would have destroyed the feeling I tried to show here. I will correct the colours and will see. Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it more than it should be! ;)

An interesting detail; - from an extraordinary city almost completely occupied with architectual pearls of the renaissance, here presented in a strict composition with technical cleverness. As Fred says; - a little bit of more ''pop'' in the colours would make the picture more dynamic.

Looking for - and finding - details are fun.

Kind greetings
Knut

Agree with Fred about the knob in the top. An easy way to do it is to increase the canvas a little bit sand clone in the nearby brickwall.

I like that you consentrate on the details in pictures like this. A complete wall can be too overwhelming.

Thank you for your nice comments!
Knut: I read ''... completely occupied by tourists ...'' first – what is completely true too.
Steinulf: I will try to do it.

God kveld Judit

Version #3 is excellent! Very good details, the colours are very good. Good crop even without the air over the knob. Well done!

I like this one very much.

Thanks Jan Frode and Espen for your comments.

Espen: You can write negatives about any of my pictures if you find something, of course :) I think that kind of critics useful as well.

I know that Judit, but it's a silly thing to do when it is nothing negative to say about it;)

Thank you Cecilie, I appreciate your comment a lot :)

In addition to the title: The construction of the building Palazzo Vecchio started in 1298 in late gothic style and only a few parts were built in renaissance style: the upper level, the main border, the 94-metre tall tower and the decoration above the main entrance what I posted here. That's why I chose ''Something Renaissance'' for the title.

But the square (Piazza Della Signoria) is pure renaissance.

Hello! A very nice motive again from you! You are good finding them and sharing them with us in a way that shows your good sight for details. You have the eye for details.
Here the air on top of the little knob is mentioned.
I like the composition even without the air on the top.
Beautiful colours,-a beautiful photo:)
