Hei Espen!

Thank you for your really nice comment :) I will post the two original photos, maybe they will help you to solve the ''problem'' ;)

Pat Metheny is one of the greatest jazz-rock guitar player in the world. The track ''Are You Going With Me?'' inspired me to create this picture.

Ha en god kveld!

Where do you get your ideas from?
I love this one. A magic piece of Photoshop work!
I really like the red frame and the placing of the ''ball''...
Well done..

Thanks for the great new comments!

Sondre: I am not able to give you a correct answer :) I always ''work'' in my mind; the ideas come from books, movies, music ... by chance, if they come at all.

Exiting and a great image. Nice tones but I must say that I liked the original from Praha the best. Nice work!

A floating mechanical disaster?
This must be the steel version of the unsinkable Molly Brown, or something much more exotic.
It look quite unlogical to me, but stirrs my curiosity:
How would gear wheels become entrapped inside a sphere, why would the whole thing go to sea (or to Vltava= Moldau), and why would it float?
By the way, outside our office we have what was supposed to be an abstract sculpture. Not so for the mechanical engineer: It is rather evident that this is the ultimate failure of the spherical smoketube boiler yet to be invented.
I lost track here, but my final comment would rather be a question: How do you get irrational ideas like this?
I see that you have already answered, but raising this question again is also a statement.

Thank you Kyrre and Odd Tore for the very good and interesting comments.

Odd Tore: Your guessing and stories always make me smile -> thanks a lot! This work doesn't have any logic, of course. It is probably because I am an old silly woman who lives her life fairly logically ;)

I am also a big fan of Pat Metheny. He has to be the greatest jazzguitarist (or maybe the greatest of all guitarist) to set foot on this planet. I find it difficult to see the link between the tune and the picture, but it really doesn't matter to me. The important thing is that I like your picture very much. I like simple and clear compositions like this one, and I really like the texture of the water. One thing that I personally think, is that the ball (or whatever it is) should be smaller to make a bigger contrast to the background. I actually think that it would make the picture even cleaner. Nice work! :)

You are bookmarked, Andreas, it's not a question. And it's not because you wrote a nice comment and a constructive critic, no. The cause is that you have posted so many good photos!

I have already bookmarked you since I have seen the picture ''I've tried so hard ...'' and I always plan to write my comment about it. But – your photos need more time to think and now I don't have enough of it.

It's not your fault, of course, that you didn't find any link between Pat Metheny's work and mine – I created this picture under a momentary impression.

And thanks :)

Judit :)
