merkelig utrykk. er ikke dette en som et med i et band? jeg ser ikke noe instrument, ikke noe sang, ikke noen bandmedlemmer, bare et surt ansikt. hadde det ikke vært for teksten på bildet, så kunne dette like godt vært hvem som helst med lilla lys i håret.
det er også ganske mye støy i bildet.

beklager å være så negativ, men det er altså ment kontruktivt :)

Takk skal du ha, Henning. Jeg var litt usikker på fargene her, men lyset var sånn på scenen. Nina Persson er ikke spesiell livlig på scenen, men jeg tar poenget med uttrykket. Bildet hadde opprinnelig lite kontrast, støyen har kommet til i berbeidelsen. Men jeg ba om kritikk, så takk skal du ha!

Question is - is the face of Nina Persson prominent enough to picture '' her'' without explaining background ?
When looking at this image more as a portrait instead of a concert-pic. it get's to my mind a different quality.
Picturing someone who is acting on stage, should to my mind also always incl. the challenge to find the few, small breaks in between the official face, the moments reflecting her perception - or the un-posed moments.
I actually think that photo's of this kind are very satisfying - they offer a great deal of different, interesting - and maybe more personal impression's of her face.
The consequent elimination and reduction of the surrounding scene delivers a great background o colour, ending - or better floating into the pink light on the hair to the right.
The blue of eyes is probably enhanced - but still a good focus point - and the facial expression is just a wonderful moment.
So, answering in one possible way to the question above - it is good enough in y view to present this image in a kind of docu-style - saying in the sub line - Nina Persson.
It's a small abstraction of isolating the face, framing it with unlink able background - and re-direct after this the whole impression again to the famous Cardigans, and Nina Persson.
Certainly not the best way of creating concert-images of the more conventional type, but an interesting attempt to get more than the official face of a prominent person – and still in full fart, during performance.

bare et lite pip fra en med dårlig smak. Jeg synes bildet var knall! Veldig flott dame med veldig utstråling som jeg synes kommer glimmrende frem. Jækla fint synes jeg bilde var! Og lysene i Frognerparken var vel ikke de letteste å ta bilder i...

Thank you, George, you put the picture in a diferent perspective. What I liked about it is her expression. Maybe it is more of a portrait than a concert picture, but I am not alway concerned about the instruments everything that belongs on the stage. Actually I was happy that she moved away from the microphone, too many of my concert pictures have a microphone that obscures the face. The eyes are not enhanced, and I haven't done anything about the background. Everything is as it is, except for some level corrections (which added the noise) and enhanced contrast, since there was too little from the start.

Jeg, som kjenner musikken til Cardigans, jeg liker bildet jeg. Synes det viser hvordan hun er på scenen.. Og sur er hun da ikke her, smilehullet viser jo!

Jeg var selv på den konserten, og synes bildet formidler stemningen ganske bra. Har du et bilde av henne fra da hun spilte munnspill? Det hadde vært tøft!! :D
