this photo was taken while strolling in the Medina (Kasba) in the Capital Tunis... It is the old part of the city where you walk through narrow covered markets selling clothes, perfumes and anything you need ...you ll also find some ambulant vendors selling Tunisian sweets (Makroudh, zlabia etc...) and cafes ... In all this buzz, movement, noise and activity, I saw this "Haj" (i.e old man that did the pilgrimage, also term used as title to respect older people...) in a smaller side street sitting, relaxing and enjoying a break out as the temperature cool down in a hot summer day...
