Pluss i boka for kreative løsninger.

voff...

Admitting - which isn't hard to tell at all, that I'm a fan of Toini's work in general, it appears to me that this image comes as a surprise - and it is a positive one.
When to me, many of the previous postings have shown profound knowledge about pushed portrait photography, then this and a few other images are showing a different side, a less direct - but still very expressive one.
It feels tempting to investigate the image, to analyze it, read it and trying to find it's origin - while in this case I wouldn't like to try it, since it not always makes sense to enroll thoughts about this way - opposite, some images might be better and fairer treated when the response is guiding the issue.
Response can be given massively here - it is without doubt an image far away from only decorative solutions - there are some very strong and talkative elements to see.
But when looking only at the visible offer - three main elements - red lines, bar-code like, a man, distant, concentrated and obviously in a phase of calculated self-control, and a passionate act of a woman, literally spoken offering her bare chest, breasts without any protective habits.
I think each and everyone is able to read something out of this, depending on agenda, taste and state of mind.
Personally, I prefer the romantic, passionate variant - as everyone else I'm bound to my roots - but a critical one is as likely.
The interesting point is actually, that independent from a possible interpretation, the used method are inspiring - and an interesting option for possible enhancement.
When looking at the work of Peter Beard - one of my favorites in this corner, this element is easily able to create a complete new approach, something what can change the dimension of our regular perception dramatically - since photo is still very often translated with ''truth'', and all kind of painting with ''fiction'' - only this shy start of a thought is able to bust the images possible attraction, seen from a point of response.
Breaking patters, broken lines - interrupted by the images of the two actors in this image, the use of red and an extremely light tone on the person are a few of the remarkable features here - if especially the woman would have been toned in a stronger color - most likely the image would run close to 1000 hits already now, and only tell something about the attraction of nude elements in images.
I take it for granted that this is a composition where elements, visible divided, fall into place, fall together, tell their story when we read, follow their way of talking, when we are able to see their expression.
Very different from many other images - and at least to my mind extremely catching - as a photo, as an composition, as an expression - and to use this criteria of quality often seen here at Foto.no - this would honor many walls - if it would hang there :)

Halv mann. Halv jente. Disturbing. Dette utfordrer meg til tanker. Spenstig, dog.
Georg: Wow!. :-)

Herlig surrealistisk!

Toini B.
Takker kjempemassemye for de siste kommentarene. Ble skikkelig glad!!
Arne: Så enig, så enig i dine innvending. Versjon lagt til.
