As a first impression I like the image - it has space - interesting clouds.
The whole setting, composition is in a good balance between wide, quiet - spacey - and an inspiring mood ( when looking at the moving clouds. )
The second view is trying to follow the first one - but get stuck - because some smaller irritations appear.
The head of the horse is a bit unlucky - because not really free from the body - but since light, sharpness and contrast on the horse is not really high enough - the two parts - head and rest, body is literally spoken melting together.
The face of the person sitting on the horse would give something special to the image - the glim in the eyes, the joy of the moment - but it is too far away - and probably also not sharp enough.
The horse and rider are in a very centred position - not that this must be negative - but it is an option given away to make the image a bit more dynamic.
Since you haven't mentioned any technical information about camera, film. lens etc. it is difficult to understand what might would improve this specific image.
I would try to ''unbalance'' the symmetry a bit - and if possible, increase the sharpness.
Not meant really negative - but maybe the setting is a touch too conventional - and a different angle, a more clear focus on the main subject - and the advantage of losses could be something to try as an alternative the next time.
Advantage of losses should say - decide for the right - or the let side of the image - maybe even blur it - but a even level sharpness is not the most attractive one either.
Still - the mood of the image - the position of the rider - and the horse - there are attractive elements in this image.
