A good Venice picture reflecting everyday urban life on the canals in this wonderful city. The contrast needs to be enhanced by means of the 'curves' or 'levels' tools. You will notice that the colours will appear much more clear and vibrant.

Yes, this is great, with a beutiful wiew.
I like how the light is coming in to the picture and the gondoles in the shadows.
But, I prefer a litttle more contrast and deeper black.

Rush hour, rather crowded, but free from pollution.
The faces are not exacly shining with enthusiasm, are they stressed or have they seen most of the world already and need more excitement and action in order to avoid being bored?
Nice and not overly romantic view, but with a greyish haze that could be removed.

Renato: This was my first visit in Venezia and I was really surprised :) The streets and canals were clear and the people were very nice there, so I didn't have any negative impression.

This is a funny situation you have documented. I like how the people in the back stand out against the light. Also how they are all waiting, not being able to go anywhere. My spouse said about Venezia that there were so many people, people everywhere. I can see from your picture he was right. I too think you should increase the contrast a little bit, to the darker side.
