Synes dette godt demonstrer str på monolitten, på en tøff grafisk måte. Synes kansje et utsnitt av bare den og mannen som betrakter den hadde gjort seg?

Jeg hadde utrolig sansen for dette. Fin komposisjon som inneholder de rette elementene. At det er to personer blant alle statuene synes også jeg er riktig. Fine toner har du også her, bra eksponert.

Nice image - it actually keeps me thinking about the complexity of what often is packed into the short term composition.
Composition is in the end one of the main points in order to drive really the image to something what could be used to transport an idea, thought, view etc.
When the interest for an image shouldn't be depending on pure sensational content - then next to light probably composition is the most important gear in the toolbox.
We do see two-dimensional- the third dimension is a service from our brains - and we are looking at a square - with an X and Y axis - and thats what we have.
No question about the content - nicely seen, bravoury to get exactly this moment of the guy looking up, and up and further up.
The glaze of the empty sky adds - and the second human, coming slowly forward like approaching in respect doesn't belittle the main attraction.

Then again - I'm not really sure if not the most important part of the image isn't distracted by additional sculptures, and the impossibility to ''close'' the image to the right - and left.

Very forceful cropping could of course extract the ensemble of the two elements - monolith and spectator - but the format would be kind of odd.

Difficult - I like it, but believe the moment I go away from the left side, and start to see it as an expression of a mood - a bit like people coming to a place of worshipping – attracted like particle of iron by a magnet :)
