V1 for min del, dog uten fargetonen

Flott blikkontakt.

Agree with Stine in a way - due to the duality of tones in face - as hat and shirt/jacket you might have lost some intensity.
It is of course your decision, your image, your view - but I feel it would be tempting to separate the face more from the other parts around - which could be considered as a ''trick'' - something what I feel especially in portraits as sub-optimal.
On the other side - I like the surprise in this portrait - since it is not reflecting on the most often used way of showing him.
Since I of course don't really ''know'' N.Young - but have seen him over the years in some concerts - the last time the to my mind legendary one in Oslo - he appears as an seldom friendly person - confident in what he is - and has been doing - and not at all hung up in the past - should mean - these impressions, characteristics are to my mind reflected in this image. Subjective of course - but it is supposed to be like that - if an image goes above decorative art.
For being a result of a probably very rare opportunity to take a photo of such a famous - and interesting person - I think this photo can be seen as an exceptional laid-back image.
It offers indeed something what can be seems as a more ''private view '', something beside the usual circulating images about him.
At least I like it a lot - and would be seriously proud if I would have made it.

Gratulerer!
